Return & Refunds Policy

Strenna Return Policy:

Most products purchased from strenna.ca can be returned for a full refund ( we'll also refund the return shipping cost, if the return is a result of our error or if the item qualifies for Free Returns) within 20 days of delivery of your shipment, with some exceptions:

  1. * For information about products that can't be returned, see Items That Can't be Returned section
  2. * To determine if a product type sold by strenna.ca has special return policies or requirements, locate the product type below. If the product type isn't listed or doesn't state another returns time frame, our standard 20-day return policy applies.
  3. * For information on refund timing, see the Refunds section.
  4. * If you have returned an item to Strenna by mistake or included something not intended for Strenna in a return, see Mistaken Returns below.
  5. * Ware able products can be returned and refundable if it is in perfect condition and unused. The refund is a matter of investigation.
  6. * Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.
  7. * Electronics product can be refunded only if it has a manufacturing defect, or the box is not opened.
  8. * Gift Cards are not refundable.
  9. * Items purchased as a gift for the registry owner have no refund option unless the product has defact.

Mistaken Returns

Please ensure you enclose the correct and complete item when making a return. The correct item must be returned to receive a refund.
Strenna does not store items mistakenly sent to us and instead donates or recycles them when appropriate and possible. If you accidentally sent the wrong item to Strenna, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. Strenna cannot guarantee your item will be found and returned, and no compensation is provided for incorrect items sent to Strenna.


Using our Return Mailing Label

The return mailing labels obtained from Strenna.ca are valid only for returns shipped from within Canada; this includes items purchased from a third-party seller and fulfilled by Strenna from outside Canada.
Each return mailing label is coded for a specific shipment. Please do not include items from other orders, or other shipments from the same order, in the same box, or you will not receive the correct refund. Each shipment must be returned using a separate mailing label.
If you use this mailing label and the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), we'll pay the return shipping costs and, if applicable, refund your Import Fees Deposit once the return is processed.
If you use this mailing label and your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund along with any applicable Import Fees Deposit. The amount deducted will be equivalent to our standard shipping costs for that item.


Returning Shipments without a Packing Slip

If you ordered an item that you want to return but can't find the packing slip, you can still return it by contacting us. You'll be asked to provide the relevant order number.
If you want to return an item that was given to you as a gift, you can also return it. However, you will first need to ask the person who purchased the gift for you for the order number


Jewelry and Watches

  • • Jewelry items and watches with a value of $75 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method.
  • • All product packaging (boxes, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
  • • Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • • The items must be in new and unworn condition in the original packaging.
  • • Items that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.

Major Appliances

  • • Major appliances are returnable for any reason within 30 days of receipt of purchase.
  • • At the point of delivery, unbox and check that the item is correct and free from damage. If the item is wrong or damaged, tell the delivery personnel and don't accept the delivery. They will help you to arrange a free replacement or a refund.
  • • If you notice that the item is damaged or defective after delivery, Strenna will help you solve the problem, or provide a free return or replacement.
  • • Contact the manufacturer directly for product registration and warranty-related information.

Refunds

When you return an item, your refund and how your refund is issued may differ based on the condition of the item, how long you've had the item, and how the item was purchased. Most refunds are issued based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. In some cases, you may be offered an Instant refund option. Instant refunds are issued as an Strenna Gift Card.

We typically process returns within 3-5 business days after the carrier delivers the item to our Returns Center. When we complete processing your return, we issue a refund to the selected payment method.
Note: Your refund request will be processed instantly. However, it may take three to five business days for it to display on your credit card statement.


Items That Can't be Returned

  • • Digital subscriptions after they have been accessed.
  • • Downloadable products.
  • • Gift cards
  • • Items with an expiry date (Ex Flower)
  • • Products missing the serial number or UPC.
  • • Products with special shipping restrictions imposed by Transport Canada (as indicated on the product detail page).
  • • Some health and personal care orders.
  • • Any product used and open box. Unless/ until a valid reason. Valid reasons are determined by our client support team.
